Connect provides UCSB’s communication and collaboration services. The core communication components include e-mail and calendaring, with more to come as we expand the service offerings. The core components of Connect are based on G Suite for Education.
Based on G Suite for Education, Connect provides UC Santa Barbara's communication and collaboration services. Core communication components include email and calendaring in addition to other useful applications. A contract between the University of California and Google governs Connect Core Services.

Google Classroom and Google Sites are not enabled on UCSB's G Suite instance. This status is regularly reviewed as these service offerings evolve.
Follow the login links to access Connect G Suite using a web browser. Click the G Suite Apps launcher icon in the upper right corner and you will see the list of applications. You can change the order of these icons by dragging them within the drop-down window. Click More at the bottom for additional services.
G Suite Apps Marketplace is an online store for web applications that work with Google Apps. It offers Connect G Suite users business applications that are integrated with G Suite, such as security, productivity, document management, and project management tools.
You can access the Marketplace directly from your inbox when using the G Suite Web application. Click the App Launcher, click More, and scroll to the bottom for More from the Apps Marketplace.
Use the sidebar to browse apps by category or you can use the search field at the top to search for a specific app. If you see an app you’re interested in, click it to go to a description page where you can get app details, watch a demo video, see user reviews and ratings, and install the app.
Visit the IT Services Catalog at ucsb.service-now.com/it and click on the Messaging, Collaboration, and Communications Services box, then Messaging, Collaboration, and Communications Problem; Cloud File Sharing; Connect Calendaring; or Connect Email.
Service Level Agreements (SLA)
The Service Level Agreement (SLA) for this service is based on Google with the IT Services Catalog providing local support hours.
