RE: HP SSD Failure at 32,768 Hours of Use

If you happen to have HP SAS SSD drives, you may want to double-check the models against the following article: HP Warns That Some SSD Drives Will Fail at 32,768 Hours of Use.

According to the article, the drives are used in enterprise server and storage products. HPE warns that SSD failure renders both the drives and their data unrecoverable. Applying a firmware update before 32,768 hours of use is the only preventative measure.
